BrewMaster’s Craft Beer Festival: Let’s Get Crafty

Tap into your inner-craftsmen this Labor Day weekend, September 4-6, at the 6th annual BrewMaster’s Craft Beer Festival. The event brings over 400 specialty beers to the Moody Gardens Convention Center, making it the largest craft beer festival in Texas. Join hundreds of beer enthusiasts from expert to novice for a foam-filled weekend.
The event kicks off Friday, September 4 with the BrewMaster’s Pub Crawl. The festive party bus departs at 8 p.m. for an exclusive tour of the trendiest bars on the island. Each stop will feature meet and greet opportunities with a “Brew Brain” that will give guests an inside look at the art of brewing. Tickets are $25 in advance.

Sample some of the best brews made available to beer lovers at the BrewHaHa Grand Tasting held at the Moody Gardens Convention Center on Saturday, September 5. The Grand Tasting will feature 400 craft and specialty brews as well as a Wine Escape with wine samplings. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. VIP tickets are available for $85 as well as multi-event Hopper Passes. The BrewHaHa Grand Tasting will run from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and includes access to multiple beer seminars for those interested in expanding their knowledge of craft beer.

Thirsty for more? The Brewlicious Brews & Foods Pairing, happening on Sunday, September 6, gives foodies time to get to the island. This event is for the serious beer and culinary enthusiast. Every featured beer will be paired with a divine food dish, creating the perfect culinary combination. BrewLicious Brews and Foods will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $75.

Palm Beach is the place to be for live entertainment during the festival. After tasting some of the top craft beers in the world, head down for the Beach, Brews and Bands. Get ready for some fun in the sun as Moody Gardens rolls out a beach blast with live music in the sand followed by a special fireworks show. Saturday night, Line Up will entertain the crowd, while Rock band, Rat Ranch, will rock the stage Sunday night. Beach, Brews and Bands will run from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the gate and $6 online as an add-on to any BrewMasters ticket purchase.

The experience starts on Friday with the Brewlicious Brews and Foods Pairing. For the serious beer and culinary enthusiast, this special evening is devoted to pairing delightful food with high-end premium beer. Don’t miss out on Saturday’s ultimate event for craft beer lovers – the BrewHaHa Grand Tasting. This delicious event will be from 3-6:30 p.m. in the Moody Gardens Expo Arena.

With your golden ticket you will receive your very own tasting cup, which is your passport to sample beer hailing from around the world. You will receive a tasting card for 24 tastings of your choice. Should you want to continue to sample from the selections, additional tasting cards are available for only $5 which allows for another 12 tastings.

Dance in the sand to live music, followed by a special fireworks show on Saturday and Sunday. Let’s kick off the party with beer and food! The BrewLicious Beer and Food Pairing starts the Festival with more than 150 craft beers and plenty of scrumptious creations. This isn’t just an ordinary food pairing either. They’re taking it to the next level with personally invited professional chefs and featured restaurants.

Beat the Texas heat and head to the Poolside Terrace Crafty Parties. Live music and themed parties rock the deck as people try out the different craft selections. For tonight, Luther & The Healers jazz up the stage from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  As one of the longest running blues band, the band stuck together since 1991 and rocked more than 300 shows a year.

Tap into Texas’s Largest Craft Beer Festival with 400 featured brews

According to Brewers Association records there are now almost 2,000 craft breweries in the United States and growing. In 2011, craft beer sales grew more than 13%. Join fellow craft beer lovers and supporters of this independent craft as they gather Labor Day weekend to sample more than 400 specialty and hard-to-find brews at the Third Annual BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival. This annual foam fete takes place at Moody Gardens Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2, 2012.

The three-day celebration will showcase two signature events: BrewLicious in the Ballroom and BrewHaHa Grand Tasting, both of which have VIP experiences, as well as the regular ticket. There are a host of related events like the BrewMasters PubCrawl and Texas Brewery Tasting Tours. Featured activities include: live music, beer and food pairing seminars and dinners featuring renowned chefs, educational events, and a slew of Brew Brains and industry experts including award-winning BrewMasters. Sunday, September 2 will feature a new event called Tex-E-Que which will feature a live concert.

Festivities begin on Friday, August 31 with BrewLicious in the Ballroom. BrewLicious in the Ballroom will feature renowned chefs showcasing unique food and beer pairing selections.
